By accessing or using renuehome.com (the “Site”) or our matching service (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or Service. You must be at least 18 years old and a U.S. resident, and the homeowner or authorized to request services for the property you submit.
Renue Home is an advertising marketplace that connects homeowners with independent local home-improvement professionals based on the information you provide. We do not perform, supervise, manage, price, schedule, or guarantee any work, and we are not a party to any agreement you enter with a provider.
The Service is free for homeowners, and using it places you under no obligation to hire anyone or to purchase anything. You may compare your options and decide what is right for you, or do nothing at all.
You represent that the information you submit is accurate and that it is your own (or that you are authorized to submit it). You agree not to submit another person’s information without authorization.
By submitting a request and clicking the submit button on a form, you provide your prior express written consent to be contacted by Renue Home and its matched service providers, contractors, dealers, and marketing partners about your home-improvement project, by telephone call, text message (SMS/MMS), and email, at the phone number and email address you provide — including through automated dialing technology, prerecorded messages, and artificial or AI-generated voice — even if your number is on a federal, state, or internal Do Not Call list. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency may vary. You may reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time, use the unsubscribe link in emails, or ask any caller to place you on their do-not-call list. See our Privacy Policy for details.
All contractors, dealers, and service professionals are independent third parties. They are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Renue Home, and Renue Home does not control them. Each provider operates under its own terms, pricing, and privacy practices.
We do not guarantee that you will be matched or contacted, or that any provider will be available, offer a particular price, or meet your expectations. We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee any provider’s licensing, insurance, bonding, qualifications, pricing, availability, or the quality, safety, or legality of their work.
Before entering into any agreement, you are solely responsible for evaluating and verifying a provider’s licensing, insurance, references, reviews, permits, pricing, scope of work, and contract terms, and for deciding whether to hire them.
You agree not to submit false, fake, or fraudulent information; not to submit requests on behalf of others without authorization; not to use bots or automated means to submit forms; and not to interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site. We may refuse service and use fraud-prevention tools to evaluate and reject submissions.
The Site may link to or rely on third-party sites and services. We are not responsible for the content, products, practices, or availability of third parties, and your dealings with them are solely between you and them.
THE SITE AND SERVICE ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, and we disclaim all responsibility for the acts, omissions, and work of any provider.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RENUE HOME AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM SERVICES PROVIDED OR NOT PROVIDED BY ANY PROVIDER, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE OR SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Renue Home and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Site or Service, your violation of these Terms, your submitted information, or your dealings with any provider.
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights. You and Renue Home agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Site, the Service, or these Terms will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court if it qualifies. Arbitration will be administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator, and may be conducted by written submissions, telephone, video, or in person in or near the county of your residence. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this section.
Class-action and jury-trial waiver: You and Renue Home agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims or preside over any form of representative or class proceeding. You and Renue Home waive any right to a jury trial.
30-day opt-out: You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing [email protected] with your name and a statement that you opt out of arbitration, within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out will not affect any other part of these Terms.
These Terms and any dispute not subject to arbitration are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. To the extent a dispute is not subject to arbitration, you and Renue Home consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Travis County, Texas.
We may update these Terms from time to time; we will post the updated version here with a new effective date, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Renue Home regarding the Site and Service.
